A seasoned professional with more than 24 years of agency and corporate recruiting experience in financial and professional services, Dan has spent the past several years focused exclusively on the commercial real estate industry. He has conducted hundreds of executive searches, nationally and internationally.
Dan has successfully completed assignments for senior-level general management and specialist positions in corporate finance, capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, consumer finance, commercial and personal banking, real estate, construction, portfolio management, research, financial strategies, product development, cash management, sales and trading, derivative products, market risk management and asset/liability management.
Dan joined Christenson Advisors when CA acquired Stetler & Waldorf L.L.C., a commercial real estate executive search firm, where he was a principal working closely with clients to meet their executive recruiting needs. Dan was recruited to Stetler & Waldorf from CB Richard Ellis, the global leader in real estate services, where he held the position of senior executive recruiter and was responsible for executive level searches throughout organization. Dan founded D. F. Srba Consulting, where he provides research and name generation, candidate development, market intelligence and other executive search services to prominent retained search firms and corporations. Dan also served in senior recruiting and knowledge-management capacities at major financial services and recruitment consultancies, including roles at Merrill Lynch, Dun & Bradstreet and the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas.
Dan began his executive search career with Ray & Berndston, one of the largest international executive search firms. As a research analyst in their corporate offices, he directed the financial services research group for three years, before transferring to the firm’s Atlanta office in the role of recruiting consultant. A year later, he was promoted to junior partner.
Dan attended the University of Texas at Arlington, where he received a Bachelor of Science in marketing and an MBA in finance. He resides in Fort Worth, Texas.
